Recycle, reuse, reduce.  Authentic denim is made from natural, sustainable cotton which can be reworn, refashioned and repurposed. Denim has always been my favorite fabric, because as a native Texan, I grew up in Levi jeans and cut-off’s. The more its worn and washed, the softer the denim gets – I love this!

So it’s been natural for me to be drawn to this recycling project – finding a creative way to reuse and recycle denim in a creative way. Who doesn’t love a cute and durable jean jacket?  I’m always on the lookout for quality jackets, previously owned and gently used.  It is my hope to find each jacket, or vest, a new home in your closet.

Jackets are restyled with vintage tropical fabric, rhinestones, embroidered patches and vintage brooches. Sometimes I take from my extensive collection of vintage and modern brooches and pins, to top off a jacket.

Recycling is good for the environment, good for us!
